TCCO Kids

TCCO Kids Vision

We exist to connect all children at TCCO, ages birth thru 5th grade, to Jesus and each other. We strive to create an atmosphere where kids feel safe, loved, valued, and excited to learn about Jesus. We will partner with families to help guide their children into an authentic faith that will stay with them for life. Ultimately, we believe this will nurture a deep love for Jesus and develop a greater understanding of His love for them from the start.

A Note From Our TCCO Kids Director

Hello! I am Elaine Hathaway, the Kids Director at TCCO. I oversee all children ages birth-5th grade. I love combining my love for Jesus and my passion for working with kids to fulfill this role God has called me to. And, I love seeing the kids walk through the doors on Sunday mornings with a huge smile on their face, eager to get to their class and be with their friends, and then most importantly learn about Jesus! I am forever grateful for the opportunity to connect kids to Jesus and each other!

Weekly Services

TCCO Kids programming is offered for both services, 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM for all kids ages birth – 5th grade.

We strive to provide a safe, secure, and fun environment on Sunday mornings for our kids. In order to ensure this, we require all of our volunteers to be background checked, we provide specific training for all volunteers, we have a policy of two trained adults in every classroom, we offer computerized check-in systems that print a unique security tag for every child & parent, we follow strict protocols for child pick-up, as well as many other safety measures in and out of each classroom.

What to expect

Kids Zone Check-In

Returning Family Check-in

Once you’ve attended TCCO and checked your children in at least once, your family information will be saved. You can then download the Church Center app to check-in your kids before you arrive. When you get here, simply scan the QR code on the check-in iPad and your tags will print. Without the app, you can still check-in by entering the last four digits of your cell phone number.

New Family Check-in

For all of our first-time guests, you can use this link to check-in your family and fill out all your information ahead of time. This will make your check-in process smoother and faster. When you arrive on Sunday morning, come to the kids check-in table and a volunteer will walk you through the check-in process!

50/50 Partnership

At TCCO, we believe in a 50/50 partnership between the church and families. While being part of a church community plays a vital role in helping children grow in their faith, we know parents are their child’s primary disciplers. We realize the church cannot be the only source of a child’s spiritual guidance, and we believe true discipleship happens best when the church and the family work together. Our goal at TCCO is to come alongside you as parents and families to help lead your children into an authentic, personal relationship with Jesus and a faith that they will never walk away from.

Stay Connected

On the first Sunday of every month, all parents of TCCO Kids will receive an email with information on what your child is learning about in TCCO Kids that month—plus simple activities, conversation ideas, and a link to the worship music so you can engage with your child about what they are learning at home!

Parents of 2 year olds-5th graders will also receive a handout each Sunday from your child’s teacher at pick-up time with information on the Bible story from that day and more resources for you!

Also each month, children 3 years–5th grade learn a new memory verse that connects to their bottom line for the month. We love hearing our TCCO Kids learning and reciting scripture…and then hearing their parents are learning the verses too!!

A few times a year, we also provide our TCCO Kids Connect Events to offer fun and meaningful ways for TCCO Kids and parents to connect and build community with one another outside of Sunday mornings.
