We exist to connect all children at TCCO, ages birth thru 5th grade, to Jesus and each other. We strive to create an atmosphere where kids feel safe, loved, valued, and excited to learn about Jesus.
We will partner with families to help guide their children into an authentic faith that will stay with them for life. Ultimately, we believe this will nurture a deep love for Jesus and develop a greater understanding of His love for them from the start.
Hello! I am Elaine Hathaway, the Kids Director at TCCO. I oversee all children ages birth-5th grade. I love combining my love for Jesus and my passion for working with kids to fulfill this role God has called me to. And, I love seeing the kids walk through the doors on Sunday mornings with a huge smile on their face, eager to get to their class and be with their friends, maybe even get a donut, and then most importantly learn about Jesus! I am forever grateful for the opportunity to connect kids to Jesus and each other!
After you attend your first Sunday at TCCO, your family information will be saved in our system. You can either download the Church Center app and check-in your kids before you arrive or on your way here, or you can go straight to one of the two the ipads at the wall check-in stations and type in your phone number to check your child in, print off your tags, and drop your child off to their room.
All parents of 5th grade and under TCCO Kids, will receive a monthly email that will be sent on the 1st Sunday afternoon of each month, with info on what your child is currently learning in TCCO Kids, the memory verse of the month (so you can help them practice at home), activities and ideas for ways to continue the conversation and engage with your child at home about the Bible stories they are learning, and any other important TCCO Kids info for that month. Also, parents of 2yr olds-5th graders, be sure you are getting the handout from your child’s teacher at pick-up time each Sunday with more resources for you to use with your child at home throughout the week!
